Enhanced learning environment for local school
Kaikoura Suburban School is a small country school on the East Coast of the South Island. The four-classroom school doesn’t have a hall, so an Archgola was considered as a solution to provide greater utilisation of space.
Used for school assemblies, the 72.15m2 Archgola installed by our Top of the South Archgola Licensees, also provides extensive outdoor learning space for everyday classroom activities as well as shade and shelter from the elements.
The installation also included a 18m2 breeze way, designed to provide shelter for children and staff walking from the classrooms to the main block, where the staff room and administration rooms are located.
A welcome addition to the school grounds, the Archgola has provided this lovely country school with a fully functional outdoor space, ideal for indoor/outdoor learning, lunchtimes, assemblies and school gatherings.
Archgola provides greater utilisation of space
“We are thrilled with the results of our Archgola project at Kaikōura Suburban School. From the beginning of the project through to the end, we found the Archgola team a pleasure to work with. They were knowledgeable about their product, honest, reliable and efficient. Nothing was a problem, and although there were some delays from our end, they were understanding and helpful.
With an estimated five-day timeframe, we were all finished in two and a half days with outstanding results. We now have a fully functional outdoor space which we can use for indoor/outdoor learning spaces, covered eating areas and even assemblies and presentations. On top of that, we can move between our two classroom blocks without getting wet! Thanks Archgola Marlborough team!”
