Product / Material
All Archgola canopies are made from New Zealand’s premium polycarbonate, which provides 99.9% protection from harmful UV rays. There are also a number of tint options to choose from, which enable you to match the colour of your home as well as decide how much light and UV you would like to let in.
Archgolas are manufactured right here in New Zealand from top quality New Zealand steel. This steel is then powder coated to provide a top quality finish and protection from the elements, providing you with a premium product that is renowned for its superior steel strength, longevity and attractive finish.
Archgola Oasis canopies are made with a combination of steel and aluminium.
Archgola frames are made from super strength, New Zealand sourced steel and the galvanised tubular frame is built to last. This makes them top quality and durable, plus they come with our 5 year warranty.
Your choice of roofing is critical as different shades offer different combinations of heat and light penetration. For example the bronze Suntuf tint provides a warm light area with 68% of heat transferred and 43% of light. For a cooler feel, the Suntuf Solar Grey tint allows 38% of heat to be transferred and up to 25% of light. With the Archgola Oasis roofing tint options, the Opal tint will provide a more diffused light than the transparent options of the Bronze and Blue/Grey tints, therefore reducing the direct light.
You will be shown roofing samples and advice from your local Archgola licensed installers on their points of difference.
Archgola structures are designed in conjunction with a Chartered Professional Engineer. With the recent additions made to the New Zealand building consent exemptions, a residential canopy up to 30sqm or a residential carport up to 40m2 may not require a local council building consent. For structures greater than this, your local Archgola licensee can provide expert advice and help you manage the process for you so it’s hassle free.
Depending on the size, our experienced installers can install an Archgola within a day.
For the Archgola Signature we recommend you use a mild detergent and water with a soft sponge or brush and ensure the whole structure, including powder coated surfaces are thoroughly rinsed.
For the Archgola Oasis, like all polycarbonate, the 5mm polycarbonate roofing will scratch so care is needed when cleaning. Clean roofing with warm soapy water, or neutral detergents and minimise contact with the surface. The surface cannot be brushed, nor cleaned with acid, hydrocarbons (aromatic and halogens, ketones halogenated).
Yes, Archgola NZ offers a 5 year warranty on the structure and workmanship. Both the Suntuf™ and 5mm polycarbonate roofing comes with a manufacturer warranty that covers 25 years against loss of light transmission and 15 years against hail breakage.
