Do I need council consent for an Archgola?
Residential pergola and canopies up to 30m² do not require building consent, provided the relevant exemption requirements are met. Residential carports can be up to 40m² under certain conditions.
Whether consent is required depends on the structure, its size, location and the requirements that apply to your property. Other council rules, including resource consent requirements, may also apply.
If consent is required, your local Archgola expert can help manage the process from design and documentation through to council approval.

How long does installation take?
Most Archgola canopies are installed in a single day. Manufacturing lead time is usually 6–8 weeks, depending on demand and project size.

Are Archgola canopies weathertight?
Yes. Custom flashings create a secure seal against your home for excellent rain protection — though as an outdoor space, it won’t be as weatherproof as your interior.

What warranty do I get?
A 5-year structural warranty, a 10-year limited warranty, and roofing warranties from our suppliers of up to 25 years.
