Will the canopy block natural light inside my home?
Not significantly, you will enjoy an ambient filtered light. The high quality roofing materials used are selected to maximise light transmission while filtering harmful UV rays. You select the roofing tint, options range from clear through to a low transparency polycarbonate options. The height of our canopies are designed to maintain a light, airy feel inside your home, preventing the dark “cave effect” of solid roofs.

Yes. We highly recommend adding outdoor blinds to enhance your space. Blinds offer excellent protection from wind, rain and low sun. You can select from clear PVC or ThermaShade privacy mesh. Blinds effectively transform your canopy into a versatile outdoor room, making them a popular backyard shade addition.

What materials are used in Archgola frames?
We use high-tensile, powder-coated New Zealand steel for our frames. This material provides exceptional strength and structural integrity, allowing for a more streamlined look that with alternatives like aluminium. We also both steel and aluminium in our Linear canopies to achieve the best overall result.

How long does it take to install an Archgola?
Depending on the size and complexity of the project, our experienced installation teams can typically install a standard Archgola canopy within a single day. The manufacturing lead time will be advised when you give us the go ahead – typically 6-8 weeks.

Can I match the canopy colour to my home’s exterior?
Yes. Our frames are powder-coated and available in a wide range of Dulux colours. This allows you to perfectly match your carport canopy or patio cover to your home’s existing joinery, roof, and exterior paint scheme for a cohesive, premium finish.
