A partnership between Archgola and Linfield Cultural Recreational & Sports Club
In 2024, as part of its commitment to supporting local communities, Archgola launched a special mid-winter giveaway, offering three custom-designed canopies to deserving schools and clubs across New Zealand. This initiative aimed to enhance outdoor spaces, providing much needed shelter for students and members to enjoy year-round, via individual nominations
Archgola Linfield Cultural Recreational & Sports Club Installation
Linfield Cultural Recreational & Sports Club, located in Linwood, Christchurch, was selected as the South Island region winner. Their nomination, submitted by the club administrator, highlighted the wide range of sports associated with the facility, including rugby, football, softball and squash. They were looking to have an Archgola canopy to create an outdoor covered space to enhance the experience of both spectators and participants regardless of weather conditions, whether it’s rain, sun, or wind.
The Archgola Canterbury team worked closely with Linfield Sports Club to achieve a design solution that fitted both the outdoor space, the prize budget and the desired look.
Now completed, the Linfield Sports Club members are delighted with the outcome.
